Murder Mystery cocktail party. Community comes out to mourn the loss of a beloved
A bitter family reunion at the famously haunted Old Stone Inn in Simpsonville, Kentucky, turns deadly when a patriarch's will—which ties a hidden inheritance to a series of clues—brings a long-lost cousin back from the dead. As a fallen tree traps the greedy relatives inside, one of them is murdered. Now, the guests must race to decipher the ghostly clues and unmask the murderer before they can claim both the treasure and another life.
Whether you were family or friends of the deceased come ready to mourn in black (casual dress) or go crazy and ramp up your mourning game. The cafe will provide you with heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cocktail while you watch, of course the bar will be open for additional drinks(cash or card).
Some history of the building........
The Old Stone Inn in Simpsonville, KY, began construction in 1817 by Fleming P. Rogers, using local limestone quarried on the property, and served as a tavern and stagecoach stop on the Louisville-Frankfort-Lexington turnpike. After changing hands several times, it became the first private residence for its new owner, Lindsey W. George, in 1835, and later reopened as a restaurant in 1922. It is the oldest stone residence in Shelby County still standing and has been a prominent landmark and restaurant for over a century. Today that honor falls to Little Mount Lavender.
